Personality:
Holo is generally a rather confident individual, though not necessarily brash. When she sets her sights on something, she’ll pursue it no matter how daunting the task might be. In the case of her canon this was rather apparent in her desire to return to her original homeland; driving her to form her bonds with Lawrence into taking her across the continent, northwards after breaking her previous bonds with a farming community which she had originally been sworn to aid. Furthermore, she’s not all that afraid to speak her mind and will do so often. Holo enjoys banter, talking and at times teasing others. Granted that this is largely around Lawrence himself due to the level of comfort that she has around him.
Typically she is quite open and loyal to those she’s friends with. Often, she’ll risk her own self if it helps to benefit the goals of someone, she is close with. Throughout the series she can be seen repeatedly helping those around her; such as saving or helping Lawrence multiple times, or later in the series where she helps a mercenary company that was named after one of her old friends. However, she is also deathly afraid of loneliness and can become violently depressed at the thought of being by herself. Something that could also drive her overly friendly nature, as well as a possessive nature. As friendly as Holo is in general, she is still quite possessive over others and will often be rather vocal about her dislike for when someone becomes close to a person, she is close with.
Again, canon-wise this can be seen with her closest companion, Lawrence and his interactions with the shepherd Nora. She showed quite a bit of opposition and protest the girl joining, largely due to her growing closer to Lawrence in a rather short amount of time. It showed a driven form of jealousy towards the girl who had grown close to her companion, at the time her only companion as well. She can also be quite thrifty, prideful and a bit of glutton at times.
Holo will at times attempt to convince her companion to purchase her large amounts of food, alcohol and trinkets; often much to Lawrence’s chagrin and protest. It’s not that she doesn’t have a sense of monetary value. It’s more that she enjoys living in the moment and to enjoy things that catch her eye while also taking a moment to appreciate new things. Even if she does tend to be manipulative in her approach to obtain what she wants. Again, given that Lawrence tends to be her only and constant companion through the series she often does so to him. Her manipulative nature also comes through against others as well. In addition to helping Lawrence spot potential liars or fending off any would-be threats, she also puts her wiles to work in helping to convince others to accept a deal; or to take a decision that would be more favorable to both her and Lawrence. In this sense she proves her moniker of “The Wise Wolf Holo” through her wit and general ability to sway others.
Her pride, however, can also often lead to her noting that she could handle most of the troubles that comes their way; from armed men to being able to tell lies and often praising her own beauty. None of which are completely unfounded given what she is, however Holo does still admit to her limits. Something that become more obvious when she occasionally asks Lawrence about the world around them, such as the differences in currencies or potential political intrigue. In general, while Holo does tend to bask in her own prideful self, she still doesn’t let it become her. Overall, while Holo certainly has her faults she still owns up to them when she needs to do so and can become quite the steadfast and loyal companion to those who she grows close with. Throughout much of the series most of her focus is on helping Lawrence achieve his own goals. Transformation: Holo has the power to transform instantly into a massive wolf (bigger than an elephant). In this form, she can move at high speeds, much faster than any other known land-bound creature, due to her large size accompanying the appropriate musculature and stride. She also uses her huge jaws in order to defend herself and Lawrence. To activate this form, she must either consume wheat or fresh blood. She can also transform only part of herself, such as one limb, but this takes several moments and puts a strain on her. Clearly, she is not used to doing so and it requires quite a bit of concentration.
Heightened Sense of Smell: This ability can be used both in her wolf and human form. Like most canines, wolves have an excellent sense of smell and can pick up a scent from distances far greater than humans. This allows Holo to be able to detect dangers such as wolves and other people much quicker than Lawrence.
Eternal Youth: Holo has lived for many centuries and is not visibly aged past 15 years old (at least in her human form). She credits her wisdom from the experiences her long life has given her. However, she is not immortal, she explains that if the wheat she dwells in is destroyed, she would disappear.
Enhanced Hearing: Being a wolf Holo has great hearing. She is able to hear tiny sounds much farther away than humans, or from the other side of solid walls and floors. Her ears are so sensitive that she can hear the subtle differences in the purity of coins by shaking them together. Holo's ears also can determine if a person is telling a lie or not. However, she admits it's not 100% accurate.
Intense Howl: While she can howl perfectly well in human form, Holo can muster an extremely loud and powerful howl after taking a very deep breath. In an enclosed space, it can crack and disturb stonework. It was used in the underground tunnels of Pazzio to scare off a pack of tracking dogs. However, doing so is like intense, prolonged screaming that hurts the vocal cords, causing coughing and a sore throat.
Accelerated Crop Growth: Holo can cause nearby crops such as wheat or rye to grow and wither faster if needed almost instantly. However, since the crops need a great amount of nutrients from the ground that can only be replenished naturally, doing so puts great stress on the soil. Holo understands this cycle well, and when she first arrived in Pasloe, had warned that poor harvests were naturally inevitable for the fields to recover from several years of bountiful harvests.

Alignment:
Peromei: In canon Holo shows quite a bit of despair at being left alone and overlooked as time moves on without her. Once the villagers who own the fields she looks after begin accepting a new religion and start developing new methods of farming; driving those feelings of abandonment and loneliness. This would eventually be driven away with the arrival and acceptance of Lawrence.

General Sample: Fourth Wall thingy!
Emotion Sample: A slight pang of…something hit her. Something familiar as she watched the people smile at one another. She knew that feeling well, even as she drank herself under and into a stupor. That wrenching feeling of hopeless emptiness that reminded her that he wasn’t here with her. She tried to let it go or drown it in the bottom of her mug, she tried but that sickening feeling welled up within her again and again.
Her fingers felt cold, growing numb. Frowning she lifted her mug of wine to her lips to be met with a block of ice. That frown deepened as she gazed down at the mug. She had frozen it. In a sudden fit she slammed the thing onto the table, her hands and body shaking. Sniffling she kept her head down, breathing in and out as she stood up to leave the seen, one chilled hand wiping away glistening streaks left by tears.
“Now look…you fool.” She said with a shaky laugh as she walked away. “Y-you’ve made a maiden cry…and you’re not even here.” Another sniffle and bitter laugh, she needed to find a place to calm herself, to hide herself. That room she was given would do for now.
